A few answers to help you feel more grounded in the process.
I work with adults (18+) and couples and I’m a LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist that remains mindful of how our diverse individual and societal experiences shape our connections with ourselves and others.
My fee is $155 for a 45-50-minute individual session and $175 for couples sessions.
I kindly request 24 hours' notice for cancellations; if a session is canceled less than 24 hours in advance, the full fee will apply.
Full fee will apply for any No-show to a scheduled session.
Please note: My session rate is reviewed annually and may be adjusted based on changes in practice costs, continued training, and industry standards. Any fee changes will be communicated in advance.
Can you explain the payment and insurance options for therapy?
I strive to make the payment process as simple and transparent as possible. Here’s how it works:
Insurance
I am an out-of-network provider, offering private pay sessions. I provide superbills that you can submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. If you have a PPO plan, you may be able to receive partial or full reimbursement for my services, depending on your plan.
I accept a range of payment options, including credit cards, debit cards, checks, and cash.
Payment is collected at the time of booking for your first session and is due at the time of each subsequent session.
I offer both in-person sessions in Clovis/Fresno and telehealth services throughout California. Together, we will explore whether telehealth is a good fit for you based on your unique needs and preferences. Some clients find that in-person sessions create a more connected experience, while others find telehealth just as effective. We’ll discuss your goals and comfort level to ensure the best approach for your healing journey.
Availability
I am available to see clients Monday through Thursday, with limited evening slots.
Session Length and Frequency
Each session typically lasts 50 minutes. Early on, sessions are often scheduled weekly to create momentum and support your progress. As therapy evolves, we can assess whether weekly sessions are still necessary. Some individuals may find that as they heal, they need fewer sessions. The frequency of our meetings will be tailored to best support your ongoing growth.
What to Expect in Your First Appointment
Please arrive a few minutes before your session time and have a seat in the waiting room. For adults and couples, we’ll begin with a brief overview of my approach and I’ll answer any questions you may have. Afterward, we’ll dive into your goals and I’ll gather some initial information to better understand how I can support you.
